Apple’s new iPad Air and iPad mini available to order. On Monday, Apple released new iPad Air and refreshed version of iPad mini, ahead of its video streaming service announcement.
Both devices feature support for keyboard and the Apple Pencil. This is the first upgrade to the iPad mini since 2015.
The iPad Air and Pad mini, which starts at $499 and $399, will hit shelves next week. Both are now available to order and if you want cellular connectivity, then the models will cost an additional $130.
The new iPad Air contains an “ultra-thin 10.5-inch design, larger vibrant Retina display. The iPad mini features 7.9-inch design, the highest pixel density as well as Apple’s fastest A12 Bionic chip.
The models have updated low-light performance and improved sensors that gives you with augmented reality experiences. In addition, Apple have boosted the performance and battery life.
Apple is expected to announce more hardware such as an updated wireless AirPods headphone and a refreshed version of Macs. Moreover, the company could release AirPower for Apple Watch, AirPods, and iPhone.
It is also expected to launch a video streaming service next Monday.
Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said, “iPad continues to provide magical new experiences for a growing range of uses where it is the absolute best device, from playing games in augmented reality to note-taking and drawing with Apple Pencil, from streaming HD movies and editing 4K films to learning to develop apps with Swift Playgrounds.”
