“Metaverse has captured the attention of many companies around the world, and it has great potential. When the metaverse concept is presented in the media, games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons are sometimes given as examples. In this sense, the metaverse matters to us.
But right now, there’s no easy way to specifically determine what kinds of surprises and fun the metaverse can offer our customers. As a company that offers entertainment, our primary focus is on ways to bring new surprises and fun to our customers. We might think of something if we can find a way to take our “Nintendo approach” to the metaverse that many people can easily understand, but we don’t think that’s the case at the moment.”
