Are you outgoing and want to drive cross country in search of adventure and most of all excited about processed pork products?
If you want to tour America in a hot dog-shaped truck, send in Kraft Heinz Application to drive one of Oscar Mayer Wienermobile’s full time.
It turns out that the luncheon meat supplier needs creative souls to get behind the wheel of a one-year mission, going from state to state attending high-profile events and coordinating press on its behalf.
But a hard job isn’t for everyone, so Oskar Mayer wants to know.Do you cut mustard?“
Who can apply?
Due to the many image problems of cured and salted hot dogs, no one with a burning desire to eat their body weight in sausages can qualify for driving a Wiener-shaped car for the amusement of others.
Oscar Meyer has a very specific group of applicants he wants to attract – preferably young, vibrant people who have just graduated from college and who have a proven ability to tell stories that resonate with consumers.
“Applicants must have a BA or BA, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing,” it states in its announcement.
These candidates are just in the perfect position to reignite America’s love of wiener dogs that have been as ubiquitous as baseball and apple pie.
What exactly is he paying for?
Good question. Unfortunately, the details about the salary are just as much of a mystery as what exactly is being fed through meat grinders on an industrial scale by Oscar Mayer.
According to the job posting, the pay is “competitive,” which is roughly as descriptive as “Chicken and pork are separated mechanicallyIncluded in hot dog ingredients.
What other advantages are there?
There are some tasty perks, though: expenses incurred on the job are covered by the company, unlimited benefits are listed (unlimited supply of hot dogs?) and those lucky enough to become official “Hotdoggers” can also wear Oscar Mayer team clothes. No extra charge either: It’s provided free of charge, according to the ad.
Most importantly, Oscar Mayer promises that each of his elite hot dog promoters will become a “little celebrity in small towns and big cities” as they attend numerous events and sit for interviews with the media.
What kind of professional experience are you waiting for?
Wienermobile drivers will gain experience in a self-managing position with “many responsibilities”, says Oskar Mayer.
These include, but are not limited to being a travel public relations firm, as well as merchandising televisionand radio and print reporters for a chance to preach Oscar Mayer’s story.
Those few who drive its fleet of Wienermobiles are also expected to contribute to the company’s branded social content. Currently, Oscar Mayer has more than 40,000 subscribers Twitter And Instagramfor example, and the best dogs at Kraft Heinz headquarters no doubt expect those numbers to go up.
How many hope to drive the Wienermobile?
According to the company, there are only six Wienermobiles roaming the country at all times.
Candidates must hurry to apply because time is running out. The application deadline is January 31St.
