Pakistani police have claimed to have killed a terrorist belonging to the terrorist organization TDP. The terrorist is said to be involved in the killing of officers of Pakistan’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
After killing two ISI officers in Pakistan’s Punjab province on January 5, DTP terrorist Umar Khan Niazi managed to escape from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but was arrested by the Punjab Police’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) during an operation on Monday.
Police and intelligence agencies raided Niaji’s hideout in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kurram Agency, CTD said in a statement. They asked him to surrender. But he attacked the team itself. He was killed in firing by both sides.
On January 3, two ISI officers Multan Regional Director Naveed Sadiq and Inspector Naseer Abbas met a source at a restaurant on the National Highway. This source is Niyasi only. During this, the ISI officers also had tea with this evidence. After drinking the tea, while walking in the parking lot, they took out a gun and shot dead the ISI officers.
The FIR revealed that the two ISI officers were involved in busting a terrorist network in Punjab.
