Poor Pakistan, which runs on Saudi Arabia’s money, is once again turning a blind eye to its own ‘master’. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi sat in a disgusting manner in front of the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister on Tuesday. His shoe was on the side of the Saudi Arabian foreign minister. The Saudi public is outraged by this method of making Qureshi sit. This is the second time Qureshi has been a headache for Saudi Arabia-Pakistan relations.
The people of Saudi Arabia have been sharply critical of Pakistani Foreign Minister Qureshi sitting in front of Nawab bin Syed Al Malki, the country’s foreign minister in Islamabad. In this film, Qureshi shows his shoe towards the Saudi Foreign Minister, which has gone a long way toward the people of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the current situation in the region and bilateral relations.
‘Shamelessness, the folly of the basic tenets of diplomatic ethics’
On the other hand, the Saudi public has taken the meeting differently. One user commented, ‘Pakistan’s Foreign Minister has wrongly welcomed the Saudi Foreign Minister. The reason for the Pakistani foreign minister to welcome the Saudi foreign minister in this way is, for no great reason (medicine), but shame, ignorance and ignorance of the basic tenets of diplomatic ethics.
The Twitter user said, ‘If I had been with the Saudi Foreign Minister, I would have gotten up.’ Another user wrote, ‘This is the rude, stupid and non-diplomatic behavior of the Pakistani Foreign Minister towards the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia. I applaud the manner in which the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia quietly tolerated this humiliation. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have deep diplomatic and military ties, but have deteriorated in recent years due to Pakistan’s foolish behavior.
Qureshi posed a major threat to Saudi Arabia
Pakistan, which previously danced at the behest of China and Turkey, has now threatened its old ‘friend’ Saudi Arabia over Kashmir. Frustrated with not supporting Pakistan’s infamous plot, Qureshi, Pakistan’s foreign minister, began threatening the Saudi-led Organization of Islamic State (OIC). He said the OIC should stop hesitating to convene a committee of foreign ministers on the Kashmir issue.
Qureshi said, ‘I would like to once again respectfully inform the OIC that the meeting of the Committee of Foreign Ministers is our expectation. If you can not call, I ask Prime Minister Imran Khan to convene a meeting of Islamic countries ready to stand with us on the Kashmir issue. Responding to another question, Qureshi said Pakistan could not wait any longer.
Saudi Arabia does not support Pakistan against India
Since the removal of Section 370 from Kashmir, Pakistan has been pressuring Saudi Arabia to convene a meeting of foreign ministers of the OIC, an organization of 57 Muslim countries. However, so far he has not been successful in this endeavor. The OIC is the second largest organization in the world after the United Nations. Saudi Arabia is a major reason why the OIC did not meet. Saudi Arabia did not co-operate with Pakistan’s move to focus on India in Kashmir through the OIC.
