Shoaib Akhtar is considered among the most feared bowlers in the world. Popularly known as the ‘Rawalpindi Express’, this Pakistani bowler holds the record for the fastest bowler in international cricket. Akhtar, 46, retired from international cricket in 2011. Even after this, Akhtar is often in controversy with his statements.
Now Shoaib Akhtar has gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. Akhtar had gone to Saudi Arabia for Hajj last week. Akhtar also announced that he will address the Hajj conference in Mecca where Muslim world leaders will attend.
Shoaib posted a video from the top of the Mecca Clock Tower, located near the holy site of the Kaaba. In the video, Akhtar says, ‘We are at the highest point of the clock tower. From here I want to show you what Kana Gaba looks like.
Talking about Shoaib Akhtar’s international record, the bowler has played in 46 Tests, 163 ODIs and 15 T20 Internationals. In Test matches, Akhtar took 178 wickets at an average of 25.69, in which he took five or more wickets in an innings 12 times. In ODIs, Akhtar has 247 wickets to his name at an average of 24.97. Akhtar took 19 wickets at an average of 22.73 in international T20 matches.
